Event Details

Adoption or entering foster care are enormous changes in children's lives. From new routines to getting to know new authority figures, children are often prone to anxiety and stresses as they work to form attachments.  Learn about nervous system responses that cause anxiety, various ways that children can show attachment to adopted and foster families, and strategies that families can use to help adopted and foster children cope.  Presented by Patricia Steffen-Sanchez, M.S., OTR/L of Midwestern University.

All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
