Event Details

Come watch the documentary 13th, a Critics' Choice Documentary Award winner. A discussion of the film will follow. 

13th is an in-depth look at the prison system in the United States and how it reveals the nation's history of racial inequality. Winner of many awards, including Critics' Choice Best Documentary (TV/streaming), and Best Director Ava DuVernay.

For parents with small children who wish to attend, there will be a free and supervised open play area in the connecting room. Children must be at least 2 years old and potty trained.

All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
