Express Yourself: Glass Fusion Pendants

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Velma Teague Library
VTL Meeting Room

Event Details

Glass Fusion instructor Beth Maggio drops by the Velma Teague Library to help participants create unique glass pendants.

Glass fusion is a technique that bonds pieces of glass together by melting it at a high temperature.  Because it takes a special kiln, participants will design the jewelry in the session, but will need to return the following week to pick up their creations.  Samples of Ms. Maggio’s creations can be viewed on her website at http://desertpi.wixsite.com/comeglasswithme.

The program is free and open to the general public but requires registration at http://glendaleaz.evanced.info/signup/calendar.  For questions and/or special accommodations, call 623-930-3440.

This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
