Learn how to design and sew a cactus garden that will never require watering with renowned fiber artist Christy Puetz at the Velma Teague Library this June. Program participants will be able to sew their own felted cactus garden using a variety of stitches and fabrics.
Ms. Puetz earned a BFA in Fiber Arts and Printmaking from the University of North Dakota and has been an exhibiting artist for over 25 years. She has spent the last 12 years as a teaching artist in the community including as the Creative Program Director for Beads of Courage, a program for children who are seriously ill.
