Drop in for a writing workshop with an emphasis on fantasy or futuristic worlds. Gain in-depth information about how to build a realistic world, and learn how to fit that world into your story.


This interactive program is presented by Writer in Residence Aprilynne Pike. Critically acclaimed and a #1 New York Times best-selling author, Aprilynne Pike has been spinning tales since she was a child with a hyperactive imagination. At 20 she received her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. She is the author of the best-selling Wings series and the recently-released and well-reviewed Glitter. Aprilynne lives in Arizona with her husband and four kids.
