Do you or your teen have questions about college? Foothills Library invites you to attend our college fair! Meet representatives from local schools, attend seminars to help you answer questions, and more! Open to teens of all ages and their parents. No registration required. 

12:30-1:30 Financial Aid and FAFSA presented by Diana Mateer from Phoenix Public Library College Depot. Learn more about applying for financial aid for college and the latest changes to the FAFSA.

 1:30-2:30 ACT and SAT Testing Information presented by Nicole George from Kaplan. Which test should you take? Do you need both? What can you do to be prepared for taking the test? Learn all this and more!

 1:30-2:30 Freshman Discussion Panel Want to know what your freshman year will really be like? Come to this open panel to hear the real-life experiences of recent college freshmen. They will answer all of your burning questions and give their best advice on how to survive your first year of college.

 2:30-3:30 Scholarships presented by Diana Mateer from Phoenix Public Library College Depot. They are out there! Learn how to apply and get money for college!

 2:30-3:30 Writing Your College Essay presented by Nicole George from Kaplan. Submitting a well written essay is essential to getting accepted at many colleges. Learn what college admissions offices are looking for, and how to best express yourself in your admissions essay.

 3:30-4:30 Getting Started! Presented by the University of Arizona. You know you want to go to college, but what is the first step? Attend this general seminar to learn about the college application process and timelines. 


All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
