Bristlebots are small robots made by combining a toothbrush head and vibrating motor. By changing the position of the pipe cleaner arms, Bristlebots will travel in circles, straight lines, or scoot around randomly. Tweens, ages 7 – 11 years of age, can make their own Bristlebots during this free hands-on workshop, while learning about engineering, motors, circuits, and principles of balance. This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
