Helios: A Modern Renaissance, is a 7 part vocal ensemble that looks to illuminate music of an earlier age in a way that also celebrates the aesthetic sensibilities of today. Life is made beautiful through generosity and kindness. It is the food that nourishes us to sustain others through acts of love and compassion. Helios's Tree of Life program explores the human condition and how we muddle through with grace and hope. Early music composers certainly knew adversity and were only too eager to express their thoughts through music.
