Vegetable Gardening in the Low Desert

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Event Details

There’s nothing tastier than fresh vegetables grown from your own garden. The low desert provides gardeners with the opportunity to grow plants year-round. This class will cover site selection, soil preparation, plant selection, and maintenance. Now you can grow your veggies and eat them, too.

This program is sponsored by the Glendale Water Services Department’s Conservation and Sustainable Living Division. You do not have to be a Glendale resident to participate. In order to follow social distancing guidelines and safety precautions, we are offering the free Green Living Series virtually via Zoom. In order to participate you must register for this event and include an email address with your registration, so that Water Conservation staff can contact you with the Zoom login information.
