Live @ the Library: Driftwood Quintet presents Suite Del Ángel: Piazzolla’s Nuevo Tango

Award-winning accordionist Gabe Hall-Rodrigues joins Driftwood Quintet to bring to life Astor Piazzolla’s hauntingly beautiful suite of pieces depicting an angel’s journey to save a small town in Buenos Aires. Paired with Piazzolla will be a number of works arranged for reed quintet from some of Latin America’s most influential composers, including Arturo Marquez’s thrilling Danzon No. 2 and Teresa Carreño’s lush String Quartet in B minor.
