In this workshop we’ll explore options for incorporating (or not) the pandemic\, and other historic events\, into the stories we write. \;Amy K. Nichols is the author of the YA science fiction novels \;Now That You’re Here \;and \;While \;You Were Gone\, published by Knopf BFYR/Penguin Random House. She served as a Teaching Associate with the Your Novel Year program at the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing\, as well as the Writer in Residence for the Glendale Public Library. Insatiably curious\, Amy dabbles in art and quantum physics\, and has a long list of things to do before she dies. She lives with her family outside Phoenix\, AZ. \; \; \;  \; \;Due to social distancing health and safety precautions\, this Writer in Residence program has moved to a virtual format and is being presented via Zoom.
